Tiles and Crazies

just came home from my first "public performance" with the choir I joined awhile back ... one of our terrorists (a.k.a. tenors) had an official "unweiling" of one of her projects and she asked us if we could maybe sing something ... she made a tile mosaic on the terrace of this coffe house in kranj following the style of hundertwasser (slo) ... it really is amazing ... i loved it ... really wish I took some pics (cause I know you'd love it too) ... she also displayed photographs of a few sketches she had made for this project ... we even watched a short film about hunderwasser and his work ... lots of new info ;)
all these tiles reminded me of some of the work of antoni gaudí, one of my favourite artists/architects, and made me miss spain a whole lot ... I really miss the atmosphere of park güell ... one of my favourites - the dragon fountain:

(kamen na kamen - zmaj? ;))

anyway, after the film we actually went to the main square in kranj where some jazz band was perfoming ... we stayed there for awhile, listening to the music and joking about this and that ... all in all, a really cool night ... still feel a bit elated and excited, though I have no idea why ... I guess it's just cause I got to know a few people from the choir a little better today and I was able to come to only one conclusion - that they're fun people :) I really enjoyed hanging out with them all and since that is one of the things I missed the most about being in a choir (right after singing), I guess that's why I'm happy right now ... I love hanging out with 'crazy' people :D

crazy people rule!*
*(my kind of "crazy" od course)

Thanks, Tejnula! And because of all the fun we have together, I would never ever want to be a solo singer ;)

We - the old Vocis Imago folks - are absolutely happy to get a devoted crazy member with a melody heart like you :D

To us and to all the good music and to the happy world :)
